Bernd Buseman and his wife are from the Netherlands and have been involved in missions since 2003. Following Bible school in the UK and mission training in Canada, they have served as career missionaries with NTM/Ethnos360 in various roles, including responsibility for the short-term program at the HQ in Germany and workshop management in Papua New Guinea. It was during their time in Papua New Guinea that Bernd developed a deeper connection with FIA and a strong appreciation for its ministry. 

Since 2024, they have been based in the Netherlands, where their children still need their presence and support as they continue their education. With a background in mechanics, workshop management, construction, and project planning, Bernd brings practical experience to their ministry.

God has provided a unique opportunity for a shared vision to grow: supporting FIA’s global ministry from Europe by building meaningful connections with churches and individuals throughout the Netherlands, Germany, and beyond. Together, they seek to serve alongside and equip others through mission trips and ministry projects, while recruiting and supporting long-term missionaries. This vision includes establishing a European presence and team for FIA to provide practical and logistical support for its global ministry.

Bernd & Hanneke’s desire is to see the Gospel reach the ends of the earth and stand alongside missionary families as a faithful friend and source of support.
