BIO

Tim has 42 years of full-time mission service (New Tribes Mission for 16 years, and FIA for 26 years). He spent 11 years in Bolivia, 5 years in Papua New Guinea, and over 25 years developing the ministries and fields of FIA. He founded the Board of Canada and established NGO status for FIA in the countries of Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, and Nicaragua. In 2022, Tim passed the leadership of FIA to his successor Matt Durkee. Tim has a bachelor’s degree in Cross-Cultural Ministry but more importantly, has a passion to see every tribe, tongue, and nation reached with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Tim serves with FIA as the Director of Partnership Development, as well as recruiting and providing field leadership for FIA’s work in Nicaragua.

Jan has been with FIA for 24 years and works to support FIA’s Partnership Development team. Whether through preparing mailings, writing thank yous, tracking donors, or ordering supplies, what Jan likes best about her role is “my small part in serving the Lord to reach unreached people groups around the world.” She also plays no small part in keeping our Director of Partnership Development on task, since she’s his wife!
