Good Tidings Of Great Joy

“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. ” Luke 2:10

Friends,

In times such as these, we can refresh our souls by sharing good news. “My son passed all his exams this year” – fantastic! “I got a new job” – what an answer to prayer! “We’re expecting a baby in the new year” — now that’s heartwarming news! Most significantly, the power of good news elevates the spirit of all who hear it, both the giver and the receiver.

Think how excited the Angels were to share the Good News of Salvation come down – it was truly happening, God’s redemption plan FINALLY COMING to pass! Although the shepherds trembled as they received the news, the story ends with them glorifying and praising God Most High.

With this in mind, I invite you into a time of praise as we reflect on a few highlights of this year’s ministry as we have moved earth to share this Good News to the world:

Water Projects

FIA December 2024 Good Tidings of Great Joy Letter

Water projects in West Africa, Nicaragua, Bolivia and Mexico provided abundant drinking water for communities in need. In Mexico, a team of FIA mechanics happened to be coming onsite when they received an urgent request for a well. An experienced well-driller happened to be on that team. Within a week, they drilled a well and provided water, keeping a ministry afloat that otherwise would have folded. That is Good News!

Site Development Projects

Site development projects such as missionary homes, workshop and equipment housing, community centers and power systems were advanced, freeing our partners to focus more on relationship-building and sharing the Gospel. In Nicaragua, the Rama believers used FlA’s model of service project outreach to engage a new, un- evangelized group of Rama. By providing service in the name of Jesus, they opened the door to conversation about Jesus. Now that is really good news!!

Volunteers And FIA Staff

Over 100 volunteers and FIA staff served on short-term service projects this year. Many discovered how their God-given talents could contribute to advancing Gospel ministry. For some, this experience revealed a calling to become even more involved. PRAISE GOD!

The best news is that through every project and ministry opportunity, we focus on making the name of the Lord Jesus known to everyone involved. The Gospel is truly the BEST NEWS to share, and we thank God for the privilege of making Him known to the nations.

Thank you, dear friends, for your encouragement this year. We appreciate your financial and prayer support, and the sacrifices made in partnership with FIA International’s work and ministry. May we continue to move earth to share the Good News message. For each person who encounters the Lord Jesus Christ through the ministry of FIA, may they, like the Shepherds, respond with great joy and praise to the God Most High.
